Product Description

Product Description

Jo O'Meara is one of the unmistakable voices of the pop phenomenon S Club. Relentless is her debut solo album. At the start of 2005, Jo felt refreshed and inspired enough to get back into the studio to start work on her solo album. She teamed up with Brian Rawling, the UK's most successful producer, and the creative force behind countless hits. In fact he's the only producer in the country who can boast six US Number Ones. Jo's solo material is a soulful blend of different styles and showcases her undeniable gift as a vocalist to mesmerising effect. And, with S Club disbanding at the peak of their career, Jo is in an enviable position at the launch of her solo record, and will capture many fans of old, alongside a broader audience that will be drawn to her more mature sound and outlook.

CD Description

This is the debut album from former S Club 7 lead singer JoO'Meara and comes two and a half years after the pop outfitsplit in May 2003. Produced by Brian Rowling (Cher, EnriqueIglesias) and co-written by O'Meara herself, the album is amix of contemporary pop, disco and soulful ballads. The lead single 'What Hurts The Most' is also included.

5.0 out of 5 stars What an amazing voice, 26 Oct 2005
By L. T. Whitehall "hilary2120" (uk) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I was really amazed with this album from Jo O'Meara. It has some really beautiful tracks, each and every track showing off Jo's vocal ability. She has a truly amazing voice and it's a shame her album is so under-rated. I thought it would do a lot better in the charts than it actually did. This is the girl who put the successful S Club 7 together, and is now ready to prove how talented she really is. Jo O'Meara is a lot different from Rachel Stevens, they are aiming for different sounds. If Rachel can be so successful then why can't Jo? It's a shame so many artists in the record industry are under-rated, because most are really talented. If you are in love, or hurting from a relationship then I suggest you buying this album because it helps you understand love. I was not disapointed with this album, and hope people give her a chance. I do not often give albums five stars, but this truly deserves it. Buy the album and support the amazing Jo O'Meara - she deserves a chance as a solo artist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Amazing!!!, 24 Feb 2006
By A Customer
Wow! What can I say, this woman is amazing. She is the only really talented star from S Club, and that shows on this album. There are only 3 upbeat tracks - these are quite good. However, the rest of the album is all ballads, and this is where Jo shines. The power and emotion of her voice comes through with every song. It contains the single What Hurts the Most, and her upcoming single Relentless. If you are a fan of S Club or not - get this album, it is worth the money and you will not be dissapointed. If this album is anything to go by - Jo O'Meara is here to stay. 100% satisfaction guaranteed!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!, 16 Oct 2005
I listened, for the first time,to this album yesterday and was amazed as to how quickly and easily I remembered and enjoyed all of the tracks. The songs, most I believe written by Jo, are tremendous and I had to put my CD player on auto repeat for the next 3 hours. Well done Jo a really good start!!!
