I tried to think of some parallels to describe this music to listeners who may be 'unaware' or Rochburgs style. The music struck me as very American and very Schoenberg.
If you like constant motion scuttling notes across the orchestra, unpredictable outbursts of brass and outbursts of percussion then this will appeal. There are also lyrical moments of contemplation.
As I am unfamiliar with the music to make comparison the playing and the execution of the playing is extremely good.

The engineered recording quality is excellent with clear definition of all the instruments and detailed impact, one can sense the dynamics of the space that this recording was made.
