Obviously I don't have the complete set but I do have all 5 series separately, which cost me a lot more money than this compilation! This is great comedy with some brilliant, quirky characters that stayed strong throughout the five series.
More than 100 episodes of Ally at this price is a fantastic bargain. Buy it and enjoy!

This is another of those wonderful American comedy-drama series that they create with such ease... witty, intelligent, moving, eccentric... why, it could be English if it weren't set in Manhattan! If you enjoyed the manic eccentricities of Frasier and the madcap humour of Friends then you should also find much in this series to delight, sadden and stimulate the senses.

It starts with Ally emerging from law school as a highly emotional young woman into the hectic litigation firm of an old friend, only to find that he has also invited her first love, the newly married Billy, to work in the same department. Worse still, his new wife is then invited in! Thankfully, the storyline does not stoop into an affair or menage a trois, but presents an excrutiating tale of missed opportunity, restraint and longing. Ally struggles to come to terms with their new working relationship whilst attempting to have a fulfilling love life and make her mark in the legal world. It makes for gripping viewing... and there are plenty of laughs along the way and peculiarly interesting cases to keep even the most easily-bored entertained.

I've loved the tv-show Ally McBeal from the get go.
Strange but likable characters and equally strange lives as well as situations. Over alla good place for a nice story.
This box is really good thing. I like super boxes like this, when you do not have to get the seasons one by one. And you get a good looking container as well.
The box is a simple thing in paper. It is rubust and the lid fits nicly. The graphics on the outside is of mixed quality. Some good other could have had a bit more work. Especially when it comes to resolution. But I'm not complaining. The box had a very reasonable price. Basiclly 5 seasons for the price of two.

Inside the box there are five plastic muliti disc covers. They look a little bit cheap but robust. Each mini box contains 6 discs and a booklet with chapter descriptions. Each disc has different prints on them.

I have not yet looked at the episodes but I imagine the will not let me down in any way.

So when taking price and all into consideration this seems to be a very good bargain indeed.
