3.0 out of 5 stars Not a fight management Sim., 23 Oct 2005
Having waited years for a game that sounded like a Boxing Management Sim, unfortunately it looks like I need to wait a little longer.

I'm not really sure what type of gamer 'Title Bout' is aimed at but its certainly not for me. The game lets you choose from a huge database of fighters (current and retired) to put together a tournament or single bout contest. But any serious interest factor appears to be missing. There is no real ranking system, no meaningful purse or career earnings to aim for, and you can simply choose to have a title fight whenever you want.

If you want a game where you nurture a fighter, slowly move up the rankings and finally deserve a crack at a title fight, then it is doubtful that this is for you.

Fusion Labs are hoping to launch Fight Manager in 2006, and this is hopefully going to be the game that allows you to really take charge of a fighters career. Fusion states "Fight Manager will thrust you into the day-to-day activities of managing, promoting and training fighters". Described as an added bonus, Fight Manger will seamlessly integrate with this Title Bout game.
Let hope they don't keep us waiting too long !
