5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent RPG!, 30 Mar 2006

This is a brilliant game with many different characters you can play who have loads of powers. You get to decide how you build the characters and what equipment you give them. The enemies/bosses you fight are varied and it's also great fun destroying the environment around you!!
The story is good too, a playthrough takes about 30 hours and has a lot of good character interaction.
There is also a lot of replay value as you can play the game over with the same stats/equipment and all characters can also be levelled up to 99.
I've been playing this game for a few months and there's not many games that keep my interest for so long! If you are a fan of the X-men or RPG's then you must buy this game!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad second time around, 17 Nov 2005
While X-men legends 2 does suffer on its graphics (very PS1), its gameply makes up for that, it offers players up to 15 X-men and brotherhood charcters all with diffrent strenghts and ablilities, to tackle the diffrent missions.

While giving the players diffrent opponents, who possess diffrent, weakness, meaning that no one character is superior.

Within the game the player can train, and upgrade the characters, with bonus missions, inculding charcter challenges, as well as being able to switch between any of the four current team members at any time in the game.

But one of the best things about this game is the two player benifit, as not only does it not let players hurt their co-playrers characters (by accident or otherwise, he he he). It also offers a drop-in for new players, so rather than restarting a new game a player can just jump in to a currnet game.

While I personally found the game to be not as good as the orgininal, it did have its advantages. There was no stopping the two player mode for the mansion parts of the game which could only be played by one player, and the storyline was far more in dept. With some great movies in between the acts

This game is definatly a muts play with friends

3.0 out of 5 stars Gets repetitive but great first play through., 10 May 2009

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
If you like Xmen comics this game is definitely worth getting. If you're just into the films you'll definitely be confused but might still enjoy it, especially since it's got very nicely done cut scenes. The gameplay system is quite well thought through but some of the level design is atrocious. However, if you just wanna play as some of your fav characters doing some awesome signature moves this is definitely worth a look in.
