The first game is brilliant. So why change the basics? No more inventory, you can only carry 2 weapons now, ammo for the good weapons has been minimal so far, the map and notes function has changed. I give it 3 stars because i realize im a bit jaded because i liked the first game so much and expected to jump right into this one and have the same experience, but im not. Cant be the same team that made the first game.

this is a brill game little harder that first yet really good, pleanty of action and killing in it, yet you do need to buy the first one or the story may seem hard to understand. this game really keeps you on your toe through out. buy this if you like sceary games you wont be dissapointed, but the first one is just that bit better :)

The main character is in living hell during this game and so was I. Whilst its more of the same from the excellent original, ties that bind is so buggy that it can almost be unplayable and theres no PC patch that i know of which is just criminal considering the amount of bugs tarnishing what is actually quite a good game. AVOID!
