This is a great value 3 CD box set covering the years 1979 to 1993 when Dionne was signed to the Arista label. All the big and small UK and US hits from this period are included as well as many album tracks that are no longer available elsewhere on CD.

Obviously at this price there has been no remastering, but the sound quality is good on all tracks. While Dionne's voice was sounding better than ever in the 80's some of the material on her albums was not up to the same standard that was produced with Bacharach and David in the 60's. Thankfully, most of the worst MOR tracks have been omitted and there is hardly a poor track in this 52 song collection. There are tracks from every Arista album (except the Brazilian album), so songs from long deleted albums like No Night So Long and Hot, Live and Otherwise can be enjoyed again.

The CD has been thoughtfully compiled in chronological order and the inserts and packaging are well designed for the price. Also, includes her wonderful cover of Stings "Fragile".

This box set can be recommended to all fans of Dionne Warwick as well as fans of great singers and great songs!.

I have been a fan of Ms Warwick for some time, and have much of this material on vinyl, but my vinyl deck met its demise some time ago, so it's great to see this material on CD - especially at a bargain price. If you're fed up of the screeching shriekfests that pass as modern female singers' recordings, then buy this without delay.
