A collaboration between Aoki and Tujiko who made one track together and were so pleased with the results, they made this album named 28 because they are both 28.

What you get is a very hazy dreamscape atmosphere of subtle electronica, well arranged and produced unformulaic beats which could be a slightly tamer and more playful Autechre. Musically there is really a mosaic of styles which takes are a few listens to really get your head around.

Vocally, Tujiko has been compared to Bjork and she does share her girly playful vocals but also at times reminds me of the Sigur Ros vocalist. There are a few tracks in which Tujiko talks rather than sings and although they have clever multi dimensional instrumentals, they do not work as well as the tracks in which she sings. The best track is probably 7 1/2 minute track 3 which features a sun drenched progressive electronica soundscape and features some great vocals throughout and a nice drop in tempo towards the end.
