I agree- I got this trike for my 18 month old son, as his friend has a trike and loves his- it is bright and colourful and plays cool sounds from Noddy but (sorry there is a but) he is in the bottom 25% centile for his age (although not much difference in height to his friends) and can not reach the pedals (along way off in fact) and I think is will take him another year to grow that tall to reach them. It has no harness (should have noticed this when I bought it so my fault) and the steering does not lock so, along with the fact you can't pedal backwards- as the last reviews states- not really for the younger of the age ranges- more for the elder of the age range. A lovely sterdy trike though so if your little one is tall or older, loves noddy and can ride a trike then this is the one for him- the trike for the next stage up!

My 2 year old son was very excited when he saw this tricycle because he loves Noddy. However, he has problems riding it because the pedals slip and won't work backwards - and most children pedal backwards at first for some reason! It is probably a better buy for a child who has already learned to pedal.
