Incorporating a high capacity 80Gb Hard Disc Drive and DVD-R/RW Recorder/ Player, the DV-HR400H offers the ultimate in recording and playback.

The 80Gb HDD allows storage of over 100 Hours of high quality video footage, so you can keep upto date with all your favourite shows. Recordings can then be instantly replayed, edited, erased or if it's something you want to keep, archived onto a DVD - an improved High Speed Dubbing feature allows you to transfer from the HDD up to 48x faster than normal, that's 1 hour of footage in less than 2 minutes.

Introducing EPG Electronic Programming Guide (Guide Plus+) which gives on-screen programming information at the touch of a button; making recording upto a week in advance quick and simple.

With Simultaneous Recording/ Playback, you can watch a DVD movie while recording the latest episode of Eastenders on the HDD, or vice versa - you can even record and playback on the HDD at the same time! Timeshift Recording/ Chasing Playback is also possible, which means you can pause live TV -Especially useful if you have to answer the phone. Video CDs, MP3 & WMA encoded CD-R/RW's , CD-Audio and DVD+R/RW's, as well as DVD-R/RW's and even DVD-RAM discs can all be played back on the DVD, as well as DVD-Video discs.

    This is a n amazing piece of equipment. It will take you some time to get to grips with all of it's functions (weeks) but once you have mastered them it does all it says and more. The one touch recording using the E.P.G. is so simple, no more putting in dates or codes. It changes Sky channels automatically when connected to my sky box, and you can set it to programme weeks ahead. Picture quality is excellent and functions are many. I would like it to be multi-region but it does not advertise as such, so I knew this when I bought it. Would highly recommend this recorder.
