I discovered this album quite by chance and am very glad i did.

Song-driven indie material with lo-fi touches, very thoughtful lyrics and nicely understated vocals, is very on-a-rainy-day-ish but none the worse for it. Just one track, 'The national Epithet', is disappointing, a more uptempo number which sounds like a single and jars the mood. But other than that it's excellent.
