All disciplines are included with the option of switching between camera angles, both 1st and 3rd person views are available.

There are a multitude of game modes available as you race around all the authentic tracks from the world cup season of 2005/2006, modeled on GPS data, including several famous highlights like the mouse trap in Kitzbuehel!

I have never had the urge to go skiing, leave the real stuff to the professionals I say! So when I originally tried the demo of this game, it was just that, something to try out and see whether it was any good. And it is! Which is why I bought it!
Whether you ski or not, you'll find yourself coming back to this game again and again.
It is difficult to start with, but once you gain more experience points you can increase your skill and get better skis. This makes it even more difficult to put down as you constantly try and better your best time. It may be fairly linear in it's approach but with four disciplines, (Downhill, Super G, Slalom and Giant Slalom) there is still a lot to this game.
Highly recommended for those who want to ski but keep their bones intact!

THis is a great game, both for me as a skier (hey, anything that lets us beat Bode or The Herminator, right?), and for my frieds who don't ski. It's got it all right (except the physical feeling, obviously) - pace, style, jumps, the lot. It also really helps you to realise quite how good these world cup guys are, to land a 60 metre jump at 100-odd km/h, parallell, without a wobble. THey're in a different league to the freeskiers!

Anyway, I really think you'll like it. It's linear-ish, perhaps a bit like a wintersports need for speed, though. AndWorld Cup Skiing is pretty linear anyway, at least with this you get to choose your conditions!
