This is an astounding single; I had no prior knowledge of Beck's music but I found myself captivated by this single, from the album Guero. It starts with an electronic melody that sounds deliberately computerized, before another joins it. The two interwine briefly in harmony.

Beck them launches into the song, backed with a fast drum beat and his strumming guitar. Beck sings with a baritone, deeply tuneful voice. The song, happily, is clearly upbeat and warm and has a great melody that got me singing alone. The song seems to usher in the summer as Beck sings 'Hey, my summer girl!'. This song has inspired me to go and buy the whole album.
