Sadly I'm unable to discuss the merits of this title as I have never come across a more error-strewn piece of software in all my gaming years. It's pretty much taken for granted now that most PC games will need to be patched at some point but we're now up to patch 3 with PCM in the very short space of time it's been available. A large number of people will not be able to get round the problem of the mouse not working (you need a download to fix), others will find their machines inexplicably rebooting, mine slowed down and then performed a disk scan as the installation had crucified it - before finally activating the software key request for which their was no code provided. (Needless to say none of this is mentioned in the brief 'spec required' section.)

This game looks like it will be superb for any cycling fans, or similarly any sports management sim enthusiasts, but it's just not worth the effort in my book. Please make sure you check out Cyanide's forum problems page before even considering the many hours of messing around. For me, I'm going to wait for PCM2 and my copy is on it's way back.

When i saw this game it looked good so i downloaded the demo and WOW!.

Great graphics and is exactly like what a cycling game should be.
You go around the year raceing in many races including 'Tour De France', 'Giro D'Italia' and 'Vuelta Espana'.
You can race as any of the protour teams plus some of the top non-protour teams. You choose the squad and then the bike and start your race.

It is a very tactical game and if you miss out on an attack your chances could be over. A little hard to get used to at first but once you gain the hang of the controls you can start challenging the big boys, whether the australians in the sprints or Lance Armstrong and Ivan Basso in the mountains.

A must have for all cycling fans.

Really good game, in-depth,great grahpics and very adictive.HOWEVER......there are lots of bugs in the game.
The whole game crashes.
The mouse cursor vanishes.
Problems with sound.....

Even with the latest patch it still does not work all the time which is a shame becasuse it is a good game. I am going to keep the game in the hope that a better patch comes out.If you love cycling i would say buy it in the hope that it works ok on your PC. Just be prepared for a few false starts.
