The `Legacy of a Quiet Man' is a collection of songs written by Dick Farrelly, which includes the world-renowned ballad `Isle of Innisfree' a hit for Bing Crosby. Plus a number of unheard songs discovered by Dick's son Gerard in an old suitcase.
The album contains a mixture of sincere ballads such as the optimistic and upbeat `People Like and Me' and two songs written in Irish are brought passionately to life by Sinead Stone and Gerard Farrelly.
The album exudes a quiet confidence through its wonderful lyrics and fantastic combination of Farrely's thoughtful and meditative backing and Stones strong and colourful voice. Thus blending to create a sensitive and unique performance of Dick Farrellys's beautiful songs and ballads.
