Bobyrockers, Dylan Durns and Kaz James, hail from a predominantly dance background, which is evident in the influences they combine. Their debut single "I Like The Way" has been inescapable on the club scene with its heady cocktail of grungy riffs, post-punk basslines and menacing vocals. This eponymous album promises more of the same.

CD Description

This is the self titled debut from Anglo-Australian duo Bodyrockers. The album sees Dylan Burns and Kaz James mix electro, pop, and dance beats, to create a unique hybrid sound that has created a storm in clubs across the world. The single'I Like The Way' is also included.

Firstly to get a couple of things straight! Amazon's review is slightly wrong. Lead vocals is Dylan Burns (not Durns!). The correct track listing for the BodyRockers album is:

8. Keep Your Boots On
9. New York City Girl
10. Dignity
11. Stuck In A Rut

When I bought the album, I didn't really know what to expect. I'd already bought both singles, CD1 and CD2, and thought all the versions of 'I Like The Way' great. However, I was very impressed by the album. What you get is a raw rock/dance mix, but predominantly rock. 'You Got Me Singing', 'Round And Round', and 'Dirty' are all potential singles. Had wondered what I'd bought when I first heard the intro on 'Handel On Your Face', but it's a great track. Infact there isn't a track I don't like, a rarity on albums these days. Some may feel that 'Stuck In A Rut' shouldn't have been included on the album, as it's quite different than the rest of the tracks, not belonging in the rock/dance theme, being a ballad, but a great track to end the album, it really works.

It's disappointing that this album hasn't had the media attention that it deserves, not even the record company seems to have 'done their bit' in advertising it. All I can say is that it's a great album, you've just got to have it in your collection, you wont regret it.

Up until a few weeks ago I did not know who the BODYROCKERS were.
The first song I heard was "I Like the way you move" and it played on in my mind until I had to purchase the album from Amazon.
My taste in music is anything from Pop to Classic and for me this album has everything - it is so easy to listen to and every track is catchy. Great Stuff!!!!!

Bodyrockers are fantastic and this is a album which shouldn't be missed by rock fans, dance and electronic fans , jungle or even techno cause this has it all "I LIKE THE WAY YOU MOVE"!!!!!
