5.0 out of 5 stars HISTORY - WW2 RESOURSE, 30 Jan 2009
By J. Law "History Matters" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I'm a student teacher so finding new and inovative ways for children to engage with the past can be tricky. This set of CDs however, are brilliant, one of them has all the major speaches by Winston Churchill. The children sat in silence, soaking up the atmosphere. I used the music to play in the background during a VE day party. To my surprise all the children got up and started jiving or dancing/waltzing around the room. A thoroughly good day all round and an experience the children will never forget!
