3.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgia, 7 Jun 2008
This is pure nostalgia to me.I couldn't wait to get home from school to watch it and I thought William Russell was so handsome.By today's standards the show is mild and innocent but it was exciting to a child of the 50's

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun!!!, 20 Jan 2009
I thoroughly enjoyed this.

In my opinion, you just don't get this kind of fun and adventure in TV programs of any age anymore. It's almost as if they take themselves far too seriously now when striving to make a point about something and so forth.

Still, despite the fun and adventures of Sir Lancelot and his Squire Brian, this program still managed to get over some rather pertinent points of views, especially during the episode "The Thieves" where King Arthur and Lancelot go under cover as thieves, trying to find honest work while bearing a thieves mark on their foreheads. Wonderful stuff!!

All in all, I highly recommend this not only as a piece of nostalgia for those who remember it the first time around, but most importantly as something I think would positively stimulate a childs imagination and fill it with a wonderful sense of adventure and fun.

Five stars all round from me.
