DVD Description

Another dose of the topical news quiz, fronted by special guests with the usual panel pairing of messers Merton and Hislop. This special compilation focus on the best guests of the recent series including Ronnie Corbett, William Hague, Louis Theroux, Jeremy Clarkson, Neil Kinnock and the one and only Boris Johnson. In fact the set includes a whole separate bonus disc devoted just to Boris and his peculiar ramblings/insightful commentaries. There’s also plenty from the various guest presenters, as well as Merton and Hislop, with tons of jokes and deleted sequences never before seen on TV.

When are Hat-trick going to get their act together and publish a boxed set of all 34 series, whatever the price? I for one want to watch those jokes about the German ambassador again.

If you watch, or have ever watched, Have I Got News for You and enjoyed it, buy this DVD now. One of the few programmes to make me laugh out loud on a regular basis. You have to have a reasonable memory for the topicality of some of the jokes but most are funny enough to stand alone and the banter between the guests works anyway. And as for Boris................
