For the price, the best asset of this micro system is the quality of sound reproduction it achieves. Other benefits include its compact size, aesthetic appearance and ease of use. The top-loading mechanism for CD seems reasonably solid and works well. The player is able to extract a suprising amount of detail from CD; producing pleasing treble, mid-range and bass. Initial listening to DAB radio was also enjoyable, and the sound certainly beats several portable radios of similar price handsdown. Overall I would highly recommend this system; it is unlikely to disappoint at this price, and it produces good sound at lower volume levels aswell.

... and superb value for money. Admittedly, I bought this as a replacement for a portable 'ghetto blaster' (as a secondary 'office' system), so the sound was always going to an improvement, but it really is stunning. Took five minutes to set up, found the stations immediately (which surprised me as I didn't think the digital signal was all that good round here) and off I went. Crystal clear reception and CD repro, and I've now also got a remote control for all the functions so I don't have to keep jumping up and down whenever the phone rings. Fantastic! A bargain at the price.

When this was delivered i was excpecting a decent but mediocre sound but what i got was fantastic. The dab radio is a breeze to use and sounds great This small system is well worth the money. You will not be dissapointed
