Roger Eno grew up in Suffolk England and as the name suggests is related to the more famous Brian Eno.Roger is actually Brian's younger brother but has nevertheless carved his own niche within the music business. Roger has explored a number of styles including his own piano work, which has been favourably compared to Satie and Debussy but also chamber music and traditional British music not forgetting his work within the ambient music field. Roger graduated from Colchester Institute where he studied music theory concentrating on the euphonium. Once he graduated he worked through the eighties initially as a music therapist. In 1983 Brian Eno asked invited him to join him and Daniel Lanois to work on Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks album. This album was a success and earned Roger his own contract with EG Records for whom he would record a number of albums over the next few years including work with Kate St. John and Bill Nelson. Roger has also worked successfully in the film field composing music for the films, Nine and a Half Weeks, Opera and Warm Summer rain. He was also responsible for scoring a series of commercials for Guinness in the early nineties. This live album was recorded in Lincoln Cathedral and is part of a series of albums released by Voiceprint. Earlier albums include a live album from The Ric Sanders Group. The album consists of two discs. One basic digital recording and a second version of the album recorded binaurally, which is best experienced whilst wearing headphones and gives the listener tthe feeling of being there at the concert. The second disc also includes a CD Rom feature, which can be accessed when placed in your computer.
