Product Description

Manufacturer’s Description

The year is 2008. Citywide blackouts... stock exchange sabotage... electronic hijacking of national defence systems... this is information warfare, which has become the most dangerous threat to global stability. To prevent these attacks, you must infiltrate deep into hostile territory and aggressively collect critical intelligence, closer than ever to enemy soldiers. You are Sam Fisher, the NSA's most elite black-ops agent. To achieve your mission you will operate undetected, kill at close-range, attack with your combat knife, shoot with the modular SC20K rifle, and use radical suppression techniques such as the inverted neck break. Work alone, or enjoy the thrill of cooperative multiplayer infiltration missions, where teamwork is the ultimate weapon.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best game i played all year, 17 May 2005
By Michael (England) - See all my reviews
Ubi soft have come along way with this. The effects are great the enemy AI is great and the weapons are fantastic. I got this game thinking that it would be the same old splinter cell but it was not the combat knife gives out a real feel that stealth is the best way and that there's nothing like slitting your enemy's throat with it. Or if gunning down the place is your idea of a good time then that's ok but just be quiet and make sure you kill them before they get to an alarm. The machine gun with its attachments is really good, take down your enemy's with the silent shocker or just kill them with a air foil round if you're far away.

The story line is great as well I won't spoil it for you but it shows Tom back at his writing best. All in all this game is one of the very few that is worth £40 pounds get it!!!!

Hey this game is one of the best out there! Splinter Cell fans will drool at the graphics when they play it. The strategy in this game is great, the coop missions on this need to be planned and executed with precission and skill. Loads of fun. BUY THIS GAME!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT GAME, 5 Sep 2005
By J. R. Skinner "skinner" (medway in englend) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
CHAOS THEORY IS A REALY GREAT GAME IF YOU HAVE PLAYED OTHER SPLINTER CELLS AND WANTED MORE ACTION THEN GET CHAOS THEORY BECAUSE YOU GET BETTER GUNS WITH BETTER ATTATCHMENTS AND YOU ALSO GET A COMBAT KNIFE TO KILL THE ENEMY IN SILENCE OR USE ONE OF KNIFTY GADGETS. WHEN YOU COME TO A CORRIDOR WIDE ENOUGH TO DO A SPLIT JUMP FACE THE WALL AND BY PUSHING THE Y BUTTON HE WILL JUMP UP AND WHEN YOU SEE AN ENEMY COME ALONG YOU CAN KNOCK YOUR ENEMY OUT BY FALLING ON THEM WITH X YOU CAN ALSO WHISTLE OR SAY HEY REALY QUIET. IF YOU ARE IN A DARK CORNER AND YOU MAKE A NOISE THEN YOUR ENEMY WILL EITHER GET OUT A FLASHLIGHT OR A FLARE DEPENDING IF YOU ARE INDOORS OR NOT MANY PEOPLE SAY IF YOU BLOW OUT A CANDLE THEN THE ENEMY WILL LIGHT IT AGAIN BUT IF YOU SHOOT IT THEN THEY CANT LIGHT IT AGAIN. BUY IT IF YOU LIKE ACTION YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED IT IS ONLY £30.00
