4.0 out of 5 stars lamb of god's first collective effort, 2 Jun 2006

(REAL NAME)
this is as good a place to start with lamb of god, before they changed their name into something less controversial
brilliant vocals drums and guitars, give it a try, i would say its worth it especially if you like lamb of god's 1st album 'New American Gospel'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, 28 Jul 2007
Before changing their name to Lamb Of God, this was their only album released under the title of Burn The Priest. And I absoultely love this album. It's very similar, a little bit heavier, than Lamb Of God's debut album, New American Gospel, which had to be recorded in very little time and as a result of six years, didn't sell as much as their next three albums, which really surprises me.

However, more to the point, Burn The Priest is an amazing album. So buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A hidden gem, 8 Oct 2007
This album really is hidden in the metal world. Not many people knew about it until Sacrament came out and LOG were on the unholy alliance and they became a massive metal band, people realised that they had this album under the name of burn the priest and what a hidden album it is. Randys voice is as violent as it gets and songs like Ressurection# are just superb. Drums and guitar in this album are really special and show that Abe spear the BTP guitarist as mark morton wasnt in the band at the time, is very talented. This album is a brilliant 1 so get it simple just pure metal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Superb!
Although I prefer the Lamb Of God albums to this, I think this album is a superb start to an amazing band's career of heavy metal music. Read more
