5.0 out of 5 stars sooo fresh, 20 Nov 2005
This a very good album, for a number of reasons. One would be the fresh 'jingly-jangly' beats on a number of tracks matched with jazzy, smooth hooks, such as 'ebb and flow' or 'Three bags full'. Another would have to be the fantastic vocal peformance of natalie williams on 'seven years' and 'strange encounter'. It works as well on the dancefloor as in the car. What i love most about this album is-.....stick it on and suddenly its summer.

Nu: Tone's production is spot on. The bassline's never faulter and the beats (although dnb all the way thru) always vary from track to track , keeping the album as a whole interesting and exciting. This is hospital liquid at it's best, and everyone i know (even the dark dnb heads) can find a track on here that they love and can relate to). For me the highlight of the album is 'Breathless', the oohs and aahs matched with amazing horns make it really easy to get lost in.

It's in places, funky, jazzy, mellow, unbelievably happy, but it never falls below pure brilliance, but please don't take my word for it, this is a must-have album!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Hospital, 26 Mar 2005
Superb album, great beats and some good basslines. Two stunning tracks in 'Strange encounter' and 'Breathless', the rest of 'em are quality too. Better than High Contrast's latest and almost on a par with London Elektricity's gravy. A must buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Yet another cure from Hospital Records!, 29 Jan 2005
Having been a major fan of all DnB produced, written etc from Hospital Records and London Elektricity, I always look forward to the latest offering. My ears are still buzzing to "Billion Dollar Gravy",and I always find time to pull out some vintage hosptial mixes circa 1999 and on.
This latest CD is no exception, you'll get the usual high quality and sophis DnB tunes. It all kicks off with lush sounding Natalie Williams on vocals to a uplifting tune(seven years),and it just gets better.Closely followed by Right now, which I heard mixed up in a less than famous DnB club, but it was the high point of the night! Sure I miss the addictive vocals of the true god Robert Owens! But all the tracks on this CD,sure do make amends. All the tunes on this CD improve through listening(a common trait with all Hospital tracks. I just love their combination of well programmed pads, and original DnB grooves,in true Hospital style. And you'll get that in abundance on this CD,go out and get it right now, if you don't then ask yourself this;do I truly appreciate DnB of the highest level!

Take a bow High Contrast, Nu Tone rules the funk D&B landscape! Of course this is not as radio-friendly as High Contrast or Chase & Status, nor is it as D&B hardcore as the... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Upbeat and refreshing
This is D&B at the lighter end of the spectrum. As such, you can play it at almost any party without non-D&B types taking an axe to your amplifier. Read more
