I enjoy this series a lot due to it's well animated style and dynamic storyline. This sets includes all the episodes in rather good digital quality though suffers from poor ordering and a lack of any extras of which to speak of.

First issue is episode orders. Episodes of the series are in US broadcast order which was messed up from the original Japanese order. As a result characters show up before their introductions and plot points are in the wrong order.

This set also suffers from a lack of included Japanese audio track with subtitles. Meaning you can only watch this series in it's dubbed form. Theres also only 1 singular extra on this set, which is a short video on how they developed the series. Which provides the viewer with little infomation other than the American investors putting pressures on the Japanese production team to make Astro more a hero than a boy. Which may just make you feel a bit more jaded for buying this rather barebones set.

Buy this if you enjoyed the dub. If you want the Japanese sub I suggest you import from Asia.
