iam a huge bocelli fan and truely belive that he is getting better with every opera recording he relases this new releases massenets werther is a great recording and not just because bocelli is in it the hole cast sound very good bocelli diction of the french language is spot on and suits his voice to a tea his pourquoir me reveiller was so strong his voice has got a lot stronger his upper register is a lot thicker and listening to him i can hear he lowering his larinx to create a biger stronger sound and he sounds great as he did in il trovetore and his di quella pira with his high c was the best ive heard him sing bocelli in my view bocelli was born to sing opera and iam so glad he does because he inriches my life with the beautiful music he sings i only listen to the best corelli/del monaco /pavarotti /caruso/ gili and beleave that he is not as good as thease great tenors but belongs in the world of opera as i cant stand domingo/carreras/alagna /cura ect i prefer his melodic open troated singing to all of thease buy tosca boheme trovatore and werther and you wont be dissapointed they are all great performances from a superb artist
