5.0 out of 5 stars Great Improvement, 14 Feb 2005

EA have released a gem of a game here!

There is alot of depth here. In addition to playing your way through the Champions League, there are small tasks which have to be completed on the training pitich, or the transfer market before you can carry on. This adds a whole new dimension to the Fifa series of games.

The attention to detail is amazing, playing in Old Trafford feels like your sitting watching the game on TV.

I was thinking of trying out the Pro Evoloution games, but having played this latest release from EA, i will be sticking with Fifa.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but basically Fifa 2005, 1 Aug 2005

There are both positives and negatives to this game.
The gameplay is basically the same as fifa 2005 as are the teams. I feel the gameplay on pro evolution soccer is much better. for example it is very hard to play a long ball or run with the ball which is much easyer on fifa.
On the other hand though the attention to detail is amazing. The radio station is realy cool.
My adivce is that it is the same as fifa 2005 so if you've got that don't bother. But if you like the fifa games and don't have fifa 2005 get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars As close to the real thing as possible, 30 Mar 2005
I played the demo and was amazed at the kind of closeness it brings to the real thing, instead of playing some crap music during the menus the game features a radio chat show where callers comment on all they think abt football.

The defense of the opposition is too good and they conjure up some cool goals as well with real slick passing, its a tuffy for novice FIFA players but amazing for people who have been playing fifa football for quite a while.

It also shows the next day's news headlines appropriately based on whether you win lose or draw a game.

You get to complete a mission with bonus being awarded for the way the team plays corners, fouls, goal in the first 10 mins, clean sheets everthing counts towards to bonus points.

A new dimension to the FIFA footballing experience on EA and a real good one at that. Really looking forward to get my hands onto this cool thing.
