Most people are used to grappling in the Capcom/SNK universe using the Street Fighter system, so this is an interesting variant. It uses the SNK system instead, meaning that the graphics are smarter and more realistic, there's a different selection of characters, backgrounds and moves, and there's more of a story. A darker, smoother alternative to Capcom Vs. SNK 2. If you're a huge fan, you need to check it out!

In a nutshell I bought this game thinking it would be as fast and as enjoyable as Capcom vs SNK. I was wrong. Firstly it's sloooooooowwwwwwwww. Secondly as someone rightly said the graphics look like they belong in the 16 bit era (using some sprites from Streetfighter II is unforgivable). Thirdly the SNK characters are waaaayyyy overbalanced.If you want a capcom vs game,buy Capcom vs SNK 1, 2 and Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Stay well clear of SVC chaos.

This game reminds me of how beat-em-up games used to be like when they were on the SNES and the Mega Drive. The game speed is awefully slow and in low quality 2D graphic. It is hard to imagine this is a PS2 game released in recent years.

kingkongmgh01 has a right to feel this game is crap but comparing this game to the 90s 2d games is not an accurate comparison.
