This is a great game.The object of the game is still basically the same as ordinary cluedo to eliminate suspects to find the murderer weapon and location.In this version though you are guided around the grounds of the mansion by the talking butler. There are two extra suspects as well as the normal six the weapons are different as are the locations.There are no dice used in the game you are directed by the butler.You have to search the rooms to find out if suspects are hiding in there if you find them they each greet you in there own way but beware the suspects keep moving around so its up to you to keep track of them.The electronic board is very well made and when set up with the mansion as a backdrop it all looks very neat. Sometime during the game the inspector arrives on the scene you must keep track of him because at the end when you make a final accusation you have to be in the same room as him. Overall a very good game.

My family love this game and out of all the board games we have bought we play this one the most. I was wary at first as I like the original but the SFX version works very well. The play is slightly different and having to track down the people you need to interview and the inspector really adds to the game.
My 11 year old loves this and it really helps him to work out solutions logically. Highly recommended for family or adult play, but not so great for the little ones as it is too complicated for them. My 7 year old likes to press the buttons so he pairs up with his brother and they work as a team.
The only board game I have bought in recent years that I have recommended to friends.
