4.0 out of 5 stars A New Style Of Sims Game, 7 May 2005
    Graphics: 3/5
The graphics on this game are pretty average. You can easily see what's going on, but it rarely appears to stun. Nothing special here.

    Sound: 4/5
The musics quite good while your wandering around, especially in places such as Club Xizzle and on the TV. However, the sounds of you fixing your toilet or shower, etc. is a bit annoying and considering things are quite often breaking...

    Gameplay: 4/5
This game is quite different from previous Sim games for two reasons: a)You control your character by moving then around with the D-pad, as opposed to simply telling them what to do; b)You don't build properties on this, you simply rent ready built ones. You control your designed character and do various tasks in order to stop the evil Daddy Bigbucks. A couple of bad points are that your stats run down too quickly (although upgrades can be bought) and your items break down too easily.

    Touch/Dual Screen Use: 2/5
There isn't really much use for the touch screen. It normally shows the menus and you can navigate them with touch. Also, some of the minigamesuse it for simple things.

    Value: 3/5
With seven main missions, a bonus one and four Rep missions, it'll take a while for you to finish it all. However, the replay value is a bit weak once you've finished it.

    Overall: 4/5
A heavily underated game. I enjoyed playing it and running around with my character playing through the story and unlocking new features. Probably one of the top 10 DS games at the moment.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Sims Urbs, 24 Jul 2005
    By A Customer
I thought that this was a good starting off game. The graphics were nothing amazing but the music and sound were quite good,if you have just got your ds then I recommend this as a good game to start off with. I very much enjoyed playing this game and it took me a long time to finish it so it lasts you quite a while. You don't use your touch screen very much throughout the game however, and I would have liked to be able to control my character by using it. Overall I think it is very good and quite challenging and with around 15 tasks for you to finish, it will last you quite a long time.

    3.0 out of 5 stars Urbs, 31 May 2005
    By A Customer
the sims is a series that has always been close to my heart and this for the new DS does tick some of the right boxes. this game is no stunner, it will give a long gameplay time and its enjoyable . however there is a limited use of the new touch screen and the graphics, though flewid, are nothing special by any means. parts of this game look like they could have come straight off the GBA. this game is certainly worth a play but only at the right price.
