I heard one of the tracks off this CD played on an internet jazz station and decided, on first hearing, that I had to find out more about it. The track ''It's Gonna Be'' is just brilliant. The vocalist on the track (Jho Jenkins) sounds similar to BB King. The track ''Midnight Caffe'' is another real grower. Dee Bridgewater is also featured on the album with the track ''Into my Soul''. This is an album I never get tired of listening to. If you like nu-jazz - buy it now!

This album is a fantastic find. I first heard of them when "Bang Bang To the Rock n Roll" was used for a jazz dance on So You Think you Can Dance (a US show shown here in Oz). Intrigued I checked out a few other tracks on iTunes and found them all to be rather good, so I came here and bought the album on Amazon. This is an album that will definitely appeal to people who enjoyed Morcheeba's Big Calm album, in fact it would almost blend seamlessly into that albumn.
It's very jazzy and relaxed, beautiful music to just put on in the background, or lie back and listen to. I'm afraid I don't have any muso credentials and so can't really critique it's style or genre.
Bang Bang is a stand out favourite for me, and Into My Soul is a powerful opener, also "...and she's still watching me" is a beautifully emotional track. The rest of the tracks are all good, none of them seems particularly weak, or discordant with the rest (don't you hate it when you buy an albumn and half the tracks seem to belong to an entirely different genre?). Put it on, sit back and let it wash over you.
