The return of the Queen Of Dance!, 3 Nov 2004
After sending temperatures soaring earlier this summer with her debut Top 15 smash 'If I Were You' (8 weeks on the official UK chart, No.1 DMC Mainstream chart, No.1 Music Week Pop chart, No.1 DJ mag Club chart), Candee Jay has returned with her 2nd single, 'Back For Me', a pop-dance-trance belter that is going to cause some serious chart disruption. Both singles will feature on Candee Jay's debut album, due out at the end of the year, along with some ballads and a latino number...watch this space!Fresh from promoting 'If I Were You' across international waters, Candee returns to the UK shores with 'Back For Me'. With a string of PAs lined up, Candee has become a key act for pop and club heads with her more than catchy sound. 'Back For Me' has been produced by the award winning duo Pronti & Kalmani who between them have provided dance label Positiva with their biggest selling single to date (Alice Deejay 'Better Off Alone') and gave the world the multi-million selling act Venga Boys. After the stunning video for 'If I Were You' - shot in the glamorous and glitzy Luxor Hotel Casino, Las Vegas - was unveiled to the world, Candee Jay has pulled out all the stops this time round, and the video for the pop-dance crossover 'Back For Me' has been shot entirely at sea! Featuring a crew of captain and sailor boys, Candee can been seen decked out as a sailor girl, 1930s style army stunner and also as a disco-dancer, whilst all the action takes place onboard a breathtaking navy ship. Remixes are provided by Vince Nysse, who gives the track a Binary Finary-esque feel, Mike Heart, whose Dutch remixing talents give it that harder edge and from up north, Dizzy Deejays whose bouncy re-working is tearing up the dance-floors. With 'Back For Me' ready for release on 1st November, and her album coming up at the end of the year, it looks like everyone will be having a Candee Christmas!
