The Wireless Boom Headset HS-4W is specially designed for compatible Nokia phones that support Bluetooth technology. The headset can, however, be used with any compatible Bluetooth devices that support the compatible Handsfree or Headset profiles. (A profile is a set of Bluetooth commands that the phone uses to control the headset). The Bluetooth technology makes it possible to connect compatible communication devices without using cables. A Bluetooth connection does not require that the phone and the headset be in line of sight, but both devices should be within 10 metres of each other. Connections can be subject to interference from obstructions, such as walls, or other electronic devices. The Wireless Boom Headset HS-4W is compliant with and adopts the Bluetooth Specification 1.1. However, interoperability between the Wireless Boom Headset 7.

It does what it says on the box. Set-up a sinch, easy to put on and comfortable to wear - even with glasses. Good quality both on transmission and reception. Needs a charger (not supplied) but compatibile with my Nokia phone charger.

Have bought a different Nokia headset before which was useless. This HS-4W headset has been 100% reliable. It connects everytime without fail, is light and comfortable to wear, clarity and sound quality great and battery life excellent.

I brought this after having problems with a Sony product on recomendation from a friend. However the first one I had lasted 2 months before failing, the replacement - excellent customer service from Amazon arrived three days from my intitial complaint - lasted 2 minutes!

Another point mentioned by an earlier customer is that the volume is very poor unless you push it into your ear. It is just about OK with all windows up and low driving speed.
