Having been a true 80's goth I discovered the 69 eyes a few months ago. I couldn't believe it, true goth rock, but bang up to date. Haunting vocals, lyrically beautiful. Buy this, you'll love it

This latest offering by The 69 Eyes takes the best of Type o Negative, berlin-era Bowie, and the Sisters of Mercy, and puts it together to make an accessible, catchy yet credible collection of songs that will appeal to not only the younger HIM fans but also the older listener more used to Paradise Lost, The Doors, and so on.
Basically if you're into the darker, more melodic side of things, you really should take a chance on this. Absolutely indispensible.

If you like old style goth, modern goth or just plain old rock music then this is an album you should buy. Sounding like a happier version of The Sisters of Mercy and Type O Negative, with a bit of sleazy rock thrown in, this is a band that deserve to make it big. Whether you are into slow ballads or great rock tunes, this album has it all. I dare you to buy it - you won't be disappointed.
