While they've made a few previous albums, this is the first Cattle Decapitation album I've heard, and I'm suitably impressed. Top quality grindcore, with a huge slew of twisted riffing, and suitably grungy production. Even the lyrics are classic, as they are not only sick (a grindcore essential) but also clever. My only slight quibble is that the snare drum is a little quiet, but with songs like Chummified outdoing Cannibal Corpse at their own game, this is essential to all death metal / grindcore fans - just do yourself a favour and see if you can track down the original uncensored version (featuring a cover illustration of a cow passing human remains - hence the title).
