This next installment from Europeanbahn for Microsoft train simulator is fantastic. With 33 stations from Brighton to Portsmouth harbour , Littlehampton and bognor regis as well as the beggining of the route from Southampton at Cosham Junction this has all the hours of enjoyment you need for a train journey right from your own home along the south coast. It has 15 activities all on a basic passenger service which from my understanding all have run on the line at some point. it has truly magnificent graphics but lacks realiosm in some ways to other makers as you cannot see people bording and departing your train. An improvement made to this from London to Brighton is that on the 375 electrstar you can actually see the destination boards heading the name of the place you are going. You can drive the: networks south eastern 421-cig, the southern ex and normal southern livery 421-cig and the all new southern 375 electrostar. They all have realistic sounds and cabviews. The ai traffic is frequent on most services but i think again maybe sometimes lacks at the mainline termiuses. This for me is one of the best add ons yet and i DO recomend this add on to anyone who enjoys the art of train simulation. i award Westcoastway Express 4 stars. WELL DONE EUROPEANBAHN>

As a fan of London-Brighton Express, I was eagerly awating the release of Brighton-Portsmouth, as I am familar with the route in real life.

As with LBE, the scenery is sparse as you move further from the trackside, but keeping in mind this is a train simulator, the detail has been kept in the right places.

The stock is fantastic (the best of its class I have seen), and also the first route to use UK shunt signalling.

I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because of a few minor errors with some station layoute.

Bought this one a couple of weeks ago and i must say its fantastic!!!! If u only buy one add on then buy this.. the graphics are superb, the activities are challenging and you get to run a football special.. All in all a great add on to MSTS.. No probs running this add on as i have done with London & South East. Im starting to wish i lived in Portsmouth to experience the layout of track and signalling involved.Great graphics, Great sounds and a very good if not excellent add-on. Buy it you wont be dissapointed.
