i am a huge hilary duff fan and when i went shopping on holiday and saw this cd i had to buy it and it is her best! never mind what you thought of metamorphosis as she has grown up alot in this cd obviously in my opinion here is how a rate each song:1.fly - this song is one of my favourite as it is an uplifting song and if you add this with great rock music and hilary's amazing singing you get brilliant song 10/10 2.do you want me- this one is cool aswell and upbeat but i have to admit i had to listen to it about 3 times before i got used to it 9/10 3.weird- i absolutely love this song! it starts out with just drums and i think a bass guitar and by the chorus it just well rocks i loved this song instantly 10/10 4.hideaway- this is more of a ballady song but it is a really good song 10/10 5.mr james dean - this song is rocky from the very start and at first i didn't think hilary's voice was good for this song at the start but i listened to it a couple of times and it is really good 9/10 6.underneath this smile - this is kind of a more slow song and it doesn't really get rocky but is still a good song and definetly worth listening to 9/10 7. dangerous to know - ths song is basically amazing from the start it does just start out with an electric guitar and light taps on the drums then at the chorus boom you don't know what hit you it's excellant 10/10 8.who's that girl - i love this song the music, lyrics and hilary's voice is amazing in this song i love it 10/10 9.shine this song is kind of rocky/slow and that mixture with the lyrics and hilary's voice is really good but it is not the best song on the album 9/10 10.i am - this song is rocky and the lyrics are amazing and uplifting the best 10/10 11.getawat- this is another when it is a mixture of slow/rocky and hilary duff speaks a little in the versus of the song and then sings it does take a while to get used toi the song but it is good 9/10 12.cry - lyrics wise this is an excellant song but the tune is horrible and i don't like hilary's voice in this song but the lyrics are good 7/10 13.haters - the song everyone says is about lindsay lohan and i have to admit this song i really good the lyrics, music and hilary's voice there really is nothing bad about this song 10/10 14.rock this world - this song is amazong and really rocky think 'girl can rock' only this time it is more rocky and is excellant 10/10 15.someone's watching over me - this song is more ballady but is excellant if you have seen raise your voice you know what this song sounds like and know how good it is 10/10 16.jericho - this song is king of rocky but at the same time to be honest a bit poppy but is still good and still worth listening to this is also in raise your voice at the end when the credits role 9/10 17.last song - this song is yet another uplifting one and is slow with just guitars and hilary duff talks a bit at the start it is like her other song on her album 'metamorphosis' called 'inner strength' and is really good 10/10 whole album rating 20/20

brilliant, 30 April 2006
this cd is by far the best of her three albums.her voice has matured a lot since her first album and she is no longer a barbie pop singer, she has more heavy songs and more sirius lyrics, where as her first album was great ,but the lyrics where a bit "oh baby" this album is not like that .best songs:fly, weird,mr.james dean, shine, rock this world and the last song.buy this album its definitley worth a listen

Hilary Can Rock, 9 Mar 2006
This is by far one of THE best albums EVER! Although I won't try and fool myself by trying to persuade people that her voice is the best in the world - because it isn't, but the songs are amazing. I think that they songs are written well to suit her voice and she does use what voice she has to the MAX.!! The best songs on this album are the amazing first single, 'Fly'. It is a feel-good song that helps the listener relise they are the most important person in their lives and that no-one will ever know their ins-and-outs better than they, themselves do. 'Who's That Girl' is also, by far, probably the most superior track on the album. It is a bitchy- 'Get out of my life' attack at a girl trying to muscle in on someone elses man, and I think Hilary sounds fab on it. The ballad, 'Someone's Watching Over Me' - the official second, and last, single is amazing. It also features on Hilary's movie, 'Raise Your Voice' - which see's her taking on a more serious, dramatic role. She performs the song well, even though she lip-synch's. Another brilliant track is 'Jericho', the final song of the Raise Your Voice Movie, which plays during the final credits. On this album, as with her debut, Metamorphosis, her big sis, Haylie, has a part on the somewriting team, with the track, 'Last Song'. It really is the 'last song' and is a brilliant way to end a truly brilliant album - BUY IT!!
