I am a Brit living in Germany and wanted a way to be able to listen to (British) internet radio in any room in the house. I looked into various possibilities but this product seemed to offer the best solution at a reasonable price and without needing to be too much of a computer whizz.
You plug the base unit into a USB port and it transmits to the DMP which can easily be moved from room to room. The software was easy to install and I got the product working reasonably quickly. I did have a few minor problems initially but the solutions were all in the instructions. One tip is that you should make sure that the software is running before you turn the DMP on.

There are other functions in addition to the internet radio, including a normal FM radio. I had problems using the internet radio function for BBC radio stations so had to use the Multimedia function instead. This function allows you to switch all sound from your PC to the the DMP.

Overall a great product for the price.

The BT Voyager Digital Media Player is a simple wireless audio receiver that uses a USB base station to connect to your home PC and stream audio, CDs, or internet radio as far as its wireless transmitter will allow. Similar to many other home audio streamers, the BT Voyager unit sets itself apart mainly by using a wireless link that will not interfere with 802.11b signals (and not interoperate, for that matter). It also has dual audio ins and outs if you'd like to use it as part of a less mobile get up. It's a little pricey, but the simplicity and portability make it unique
