    5.0 out of 5 stars Hello, 16 Jan 2009

What is particularly good about this kind of game is that you're free to explore in your own time, at your own pace. It doesn't allow you to make fatal errors: there are games where you need to do everything in exactly the right order or nothing works. Games like that are just plain silly: life's too short. If you die or fail, you always come back into the game at pretty much the same point.
You do need to be pretty assiduous...look closely at all times but mainly this game can be played without a walkthrough. And surely that's what its creators wanted. I really enjoyed it. And the storyline makes you think, although I doubt if any of the gods would have got much out of the subleties of the storyline!

    3.0 out of 5 stars Game of 2 halves, 7 May 2007

The first half of this game is irritating and the conversations with in game characters can be skipped entirely. The scenery in the first half is samey and the cutscenes seem to have been thrown in to show off the game designers ability rather than enhance the game. The second half makes up for it and has some good humour and imagination if you persevere through the truly tedious set up of the first half. Wait till it comes down in price or go through marketplace because it isn't worth full price (26 quid at time of writing). It is mostly fun, though, and a nice introduction to adventure gaming.
It is entirely mouse controlled and you click to jump to the next point in the game but you can look around the very impressive (in the latter stages) scenery wherever you are standing.
Good fun and a pleasant diversion if you can be bothered getting to the second half.
