Here's an incendiary blast of guitar rock if ever there waas one. It's hard to believe U2 have been with us for around 25 years because this has all the passion and power U2 have displayed throughout. They're still hungry and they're not even thinking of slowing down. "Vertigo" bodes very well for their forthcoming album.

Just when you think U2 cant get any better they come along and prove you wrong! Vertigo is a thumping rock tune with the usually blend of fantastic musicianship and cracking lyrics. Bono only gains in charisma as the years pass and The Edge, Adam and Larry always produce somthing different. Nobody else out there sounds like U2, and if the whole album is like this it will be in my CD player for the next 6 months!
