5.0 out of 5 stars Documentary by the Last Angry Man, 19 Oct 2004
By A Customer
Farenheit 9/11 is a film that covers much of the ground that Michael Moore's books like Stupid White Men and Dude, Where's My Country? have covered but also casts an eye over the events of the Iraq war and how this has changed peoples perceptions and allegiances within the USA.

Parts of the film are disturbing as it is strikingly graphic in some places showing the sort of footage that the News refuses to show and some have criticised the film for going too far in doing this while others have said he is biased. Those who are concerned about bias should be aware that Michael Moore is biased, this is a film by a man who champions the causes of those who can't be heard but does it in often outrageous and inappropriate ways and a man who does not ally himself to either of the main political parties.

This is a hard hitting undoubtably anti-Bush film about lies, deception, perceptions and changing ideas in a post 9/11 world and a tirade against a US President and a unjustified war that people feel very strongly about one way or another. Definitely a must see film though those who'd support the Republicans are unlikely to agree with much of the content and ideas.

4.0 out of 5 stars Too dense for most ?, 16 Sep 2005
By A Customer
The film should be seen several times : it's simply too dense to be appreciated fully on a single viewing. Michael Moore's sense of humour is an acquired taste, too ! So much information, so much coverage, so much to and fro in a good attempt to give us a complete picture. Biased ? Not really : he shows both civilian and military victims, bleeding, questioning, angry. He points his finger at authority, but his main target is, without a doubt, George W. Bush : he unclothes him, gently, but firmly, showing how unworthy he is of the job he is paid to do.
There is something sadly wrong with a democracy that elects such a man, twice ! However, Moore has not been censored...yet ! Isn't that a good sign ? We in Europe like or dislike the USA for many things : I cannot but admire Moore for tackling a manipulator who is manipulated and getting away with it ! As Bush says to Moore 'Behave' ! Let's hope there are always people like Moore who are never silenced...
When's his next film ?
When there's another wrong to be put right ?

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Superb, 17 Dec 2005
By A Customer
Everyone should watch this film. If you want to know what's 'really' going on inside the Bush administration, go out and buy it. You won't regret it.
