5.0 out of 5 stars Buy The Gameboy Just For This Game!!, 23 Dec 2004
By A Customer
After having bought the original sims on the gameboy, i rushed out to get the next installment (urbz) because of the superiority of the first game. Everything rumoured about the sims bustin out on the consoles was only, in fact, true to the gameboy version. You can free-run, eat out, go clubbing and have live conversations with other characters.
In this game the map must be three times as bigger, better conversation options, more items to buy MUCH better transport (so far i have unlocked a hover board and a harley type bike). There is also much more realism to it- with the option to receive phone calls, invite people round, go out with people and many more. The jobs have been massively upgraded and there is now an option to select a house to buy. This is a must have game. BUY NOW

4.0 out of 5 stars Addictive!, 5 Dec 2004
By A Customer
I wasn't planning on getting this game as the last few sims games on consoles have been a letdown but I was sooo wrong! I bought this game and I have now finished it but I can tell you from the beginning its begging you to keep playing. You start of as a nobody, working as a cleaner and then you get tasks to do and you end up getting sent to jail so you have to charm the jail guy into letting you out. You get to go to tons of cool places like Paradise Island and drive around on your scooter. You can choose to be a streetie, richie, nerd or artist. The world is your oyster! I would seriously recommend you get this game because you'll never want to put it down. Even once you finish the missions and tasks you might still want to go live in that city apartment or penthouse. Maybe live out your dream of the first mates quarters in the ship. You can really do what you want, take as long of a time as you want to live your new urb life to its full!

5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging and fun, 24 Mar 2005
By Essex Girl "essexsim" - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
I loved The Sims:Bustin' Out on GBA so was looking forward to this game. There is a bigger area to explore (but restricted until you do the appropriate tasks), more interactions and some fun mini-games. The premise is that to be the hip Urb about town you must have strong relationships with as many other characters as you can to earn rep points and get Xizzle beads which can be exchanged for skills or mood enhancements. There are numerous levels with lots of goals to complete and often there are ones you can struggle on. The game is very multi-dimensional in that there are so many things you can do in one 'urb day' such as earn money, hone skills, find things, get up relationship scores etc that you run out of time to do everything. This is not a game for a quick dip in and out of, you can get sucked into it, which means I don't play it as much as I would like, as I know I can't spend hours at a time on it.
