Prepare your garrison of worms to join three other machines in four player clashes. Wage war online, over epic landscapes never seen before in a Worms game with the option to tailor battles through Quickmatch and Optimatch matchmaking. I'm a huge fan of the previous Worm games but this one isn't so hot. You can go straight into the fighting but you can build a fort; just as the title suggests but that is tidious and takes up precious time but you can lose the game if the fort is destroyed.

The 3D graphics are anoying and the camera doesn't seem to help. Trying to hit the enemy is much harder, I played a game with my brother and we didn't each other throughout the entire game until we moved closer to one another. The wind has several new directions that just makes it plain difficult especially over the long distances.

I will say though that the game has some great new weapons but you can't access them until you have built your fort up.

The game could be great if you are willing to spend the time on it practising but that is annoying as building the forts.

i was a great fan of worms and a great fan of strategy games so when i saw this i couldn't wait. It was about 3 years that i waited to get this game as it was so expensive but when i finally got it i was so disapointed. There is no strategy in it, you have to build the fort while you fight, you rarley cause any damage on the enemy and they hit you almost every time and there is no difficculty setting this is the worst game i have ever played i dont understand why it is so exspensive as it isnt even worth £2 if you ask me its worth less.Overall this game is rubbish it was a nice idea but they mucked it up.
