5.0 out of 5 stars His best Yet, 1 Sep 2005
By Mr. Colin Simpson "diestrong" (Scotland UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
If I said the whole album was made up of a minute long horn pieces looped for an hour and interspersed with spells of almost silence you might not be instantly attracted to listen. Trust me though, this is as good as it gets. From the first 5 seconds you are sucked in and trapped. You thirst for more of those horns when the silences appear. You want the goosepimples to come back. It sometimes takes you all the way to tears. I took this albumn to work and people were crying at the impact it had on them. From the first notes they were saying 'what is that'. I would rate this above Johanns other masterpiece Englaborn. If you like very peaceful and quiet classical or ambient buy this. It will become one of you favourite all time albums.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice., 4 Jan 2006
By Dermot (Seoul, Korea) - See all my reviews
This c.d. brings very nice music and a very nice idea together. The constant sound of the horns coming in and out make it quite beautiful but the only fault is the need to constantly raise the volume of your stereo whilst listening. Otherwise it's perfect.
