5.0 out of 5 stars simply fantastic !, 7 Jun 2005
Ive been playing rts games since 1996s command and conquer ,theres something quite comforting about sending little men to their deaths.I stopped playing rts games after i got bored with the gameplay and stupid 3d environments like in c&c generals.then i played a demo of blitzkrieg rolling thunder and i was blown away...it looks superb, the men look real and in proportion, the tanks move realistically (i should know,i used to be a tank gunner)the ai reacts to every move realistically ie ;if u use artillery the enemy triangulates the sound and returns fire!wow...the tanks leave tracks ,the bombers and fighters look and perform superb ,you get medals, promotions ...only 1 problem...dont plan anything for a month cos u wont be able to stop playing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 6 April 2005
I have had many happy hours playing this game, the graphics are realistic and the gameplay is very fun. The game is also very historically correct which adds to the realism. If you want a world war strategy game this is the game to buy.
