I eagerly awaited this dvd (for 4-weeks)to be cleared through Ukrainian customs in anticipation of the real final in 1983. But alas the classic final is barely mentioned and we are given the part only United fans might feel compeled to watch. Big shame and now searching for the real match on DVD. Does it exist? 1 star only for the few seconds they do show of what were glorious days of old.

Another Man. U. product. If you are a Brighton fan, eager to see the original game, then this is NOT for you. Only the goals are shown (which are worth re-living) but not even the "Smith must score" highlight. The commentary is ITV's, rather than BBC's anyway.

Perhaps someone, somewhere will produce a DVD of the first match that we Seagulls fans can enjoy!!!

This is not so much the FA Cup Final as the FA Cup Final REPLAY.

Was the editor a Manchester United fan?

The whole of the Replay is here which United won 4-0, but only glimpses of the actual Final - a game where United were at times exposed by lowly Brighton (also relegated that season) and nearly lost it after leading 2-1 at one time.

If only "and Smith must score..." (famous commentators comment at the time) had come true, this Final would have been remembered for much more (and the United FA Cup Final Box Set might have had one less DVD in it).

Good for the goals (4-0 hides a good game in truth and not as one sided as the score line suggests).

The presentation is good as you would expect.
