I have been a fan of Russell for some time but nothing could prepare me for the emotional force of hearing this new incredibly personal outpouring.

I won it from a local radio competition which is how I get to post this review before it's released on Monday!
To give amazon users an idea of what to expect: first, Russell's voice is better than ever - no-one should worry about the operation he had, in fact there is a new richness and the exciting big notes have the same ring as they
always did.

second his difficulties over the last ear or two have actually made his singing much more emotional and peronsal- it seems like he is singing directly to you, which I did not always feel before.

third, instead of doing covers of classical pop songs he has come up with mostly new material and it all sits together really well. Just some highights are the title track Amore musica, a moddy classic called Magia sara, You raise me up (the best version ever, much better than Josh Groban), Gladiator - simply brilliant, We will stand together, a version of Nimrod that I thought would not work but really does, and a fantastic duet called Alchemist with an amazing singer called Lara Fabien and written by Gary Barlow. It's nothing like his Take That stuff, it's really orchestral and rich.

I am blown away by this album, don't miss it, Russell has again shown how it should be done and has moved so-called crossover music forward again. Il Divo will have a lot to live up to.

The title of this album should tell you that this is not the 'usual' from Russell Watson, and you would be right!!
This is a collection of inspirational and emotional tracks that are lovingly performed by someone who is, in his own words "grateful to be given another chance" Russell has come through a traumatic period when he was in danger of losing his voice altogether, but this album proves that he is back, and even better!
From the heart-stopping Gladiatore, to the glorious Amore e musica. From the soul-searching We will stand together to the pure beauty of You raise me up, this is without doubt, Russell as we have never heard him before.
The tracks are all sung from the heart, with intense feeling in every word, as though this is a 'thank you' for the return of the voice which he was so in danger of losing.
Russell shares his gratitude with us, and we are richly rewarded into the bargain!
An album of such wonderful music and meaning, a pure gift in itself.

AMORE MUSICA is without doubt the best CD. I have ever heard and RUSSELL is without doubt the best singer anywhere.
This is a CD , packed from beginning to end with emotion and feeling.
Russell has poured his heart and soul out through these songs , to come back from such a traumatic time and give us this beautiful selection of songs is truly amazing.
The highlights for me are GLADIATORE...such power in the voice it takes my breath away.
I BELIEVE..so gentle it brings tears every time I hear it.
I Te VURRIA VASA..Russell reaching those low notes gives me goosebumps.
I'LL WALK WITH GOD ..This just breaks my heart.
WE WILL STAND TOGETHER..once again a powerful song .
AND ........LA FIAMMA SACRA...this just sums up the whole CD, every note , every word , to me , means RUSSELL

If I could give this 20 stars , I would .
It is Romantic, Powerful , Gentle and emotional.
