I have liked Goldfrapp since Felt Mountain first appeared on the shelves in HMV, every song is charged with sexuality and emotion-though it wasn't until I saw them live at the Hammersmith Apollo last year that I truly loved them. Seeing Alison on stage should be one of the seven wonders of the world. She is so energetic live, so beautiful and ethereal. Its not until you see Golfrapp live that you realise that some of the most unusual and sublime sounds on their records are actually electronically enhanced samples of Alisons voice- you will be amazed at what she does on 'lovely head' and 'utopia'. Anyone who likes their records, but has never seen them live NEED this DVD. Many artists should take note- this is how a live show should be done!

Some live performances are a turnoff, even break an artist.
Few can perform like goldfrapp and really add up, turn you on.
With hypnotic, electric sounds and extraordinary vocals, goldfrapp keeps you close to the screen.
The 2 disc DVD holds two (!) live concerts, containing songs from their CD's "Felt Mountain" and "Black Cherry."
This creates a mixture of uptempo beats and lyrical songs.
Besides, two documentaries show us a closer look at the musicians: Alison Golfrapp and Will Gregory.
I'd offer them another vacation to some mountain...
It's just wonderful.

This DVD is incredible, i first found out about Goldfrapp from hearing a simple little whistling tune from the comedy series Monkey Dust, it turned out to be Lovely Head. I've been hooked ever since. The DVD is excellent and connot be put down, looks like i'm going to have to buy the cds as well now to play in the car.
