Angela's partner is Ian Waite (Denise Lewis's partner in Strictly Come Dancing 2004) and so you feel confident that they know what they are doing. I found this video very easy to follow: The dance steps are broken down into easy sections to learn the basics and then they build them up into simple and short but impressive-looking routines that would do for most social dancing situations.

What I liked about the video was that there are no obscure camera angles; the camera concentates on the feet when it is important and only once you have the basics are the 'twiddly bits', that make it look more impressive, added. All explained in very simple language and shown in an easy-to-follow style.

There are only 5 dances - the waltz, quickstep, tango, cha cha cha and slow jive. For each dance you get the basic steps, a couple of turns and perhaps one or two bits to give it flair.

I would recommend this video for a very beginner and for someone who already has the very basic steps but is looking to improve their technique or add in a turn or two, as they explain this aspect simply but very well.

I'd now like to have a more intermediate version of this with a few more steps added on to the basics.
