Product Description

Manufacturer’s Description
From the makers of FIFA Football (the world's #1 selling sports game), Total Club Manager 2005 will pit your football wits against the best managers in the world. Whether you are scrapping for points in a relegation battle, or on the verge of European victory, TCM 2005 will guarantee you feel the pressures of the modern day football manager. A deeper more thorough database (with officially licensed leagues, teams and players), as well as improved tactical realism in a stunning 3D world will allow for a more realistic management experience. An all-new 3D highlights package (PC only) is also included to allow the manager to view key moments in the game. TCM's all new hi-res interface, player stat system and key game modes such as "Create a Club" (PC only) further push the boundaries of football management simulation.

1.0 out of 5 stars Try LMA manager instead......, 28 Dec 2004
When i first heard they were gonna bring out a new TCM game i started to get my hopes up seeing as the last game had been such a big disapointment i thought they may have learnt from their mistakes. But i was very wrong.

The loading times take ages, the matches are pointless and it just isn't fun at all.

Some advice: Go for LMA manager instead!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Early promise but a letdown, 16 Mar 2006
By B. BERWICK "Sothis" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Be warned. When you start playing this game it will be fun and refreshing, like all of the TCM series so far. However, it will go downhill once you realise that it's not as realistic as it seems.

Play it long enough and you will see how predictable games can get. You can almost predict exactly how and why you'll lose a game. A typical scenario would be to dominate a game completly only to lose to a last minute goal- it doesn't matter how many chances you make or how good your side is, if the game decides you're to lose, you'll lose.

The 'random' element that supposedly helps keep this game realistic instead ruins the game. The bigger teams DO actually beat the smaller teams 9 times out of 10, rather than the other way around, which is where the game falls down spectacularly. As I've said, it doesn't matter how good your side is, what your tactics are... if the game's script for that match says you're going to lose, you will lose, unless you own FIFA 2005 and do a Fusion game.

In short, it's frustrating, annoying and not realistic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not All Bad...................., 16 May 2005
By A Customer
I Own This Game And Overall I Think Its Good, Particularly The 3D Match Option Where It Gives You The Chance To Watch The Game Like You Were Playing On FIFA, Another Good Point Is The Football Fusion Were You Import A Match On Total Club, Play It On FIFA, Then Import The Result Back Onto Total Club, Both Of These Options Are More Enjoyable To Use Than The Boring Moving On-Screen Dots Like Football And Champ Man, The Downside To The Game Is That It Is Very Similar To The Other EA Games, And In Game It Is Difficult To Find Younger Players That You can Sign Because The Club Won't Accept Offers Which Is Quite Frustrating, However Big Players Like Ronaldinho will Join You And At The End Of Seasons There Are Always Big Name Players Available On Free Transfers. So Overall I Think This Is A Good Game And Although Many Of These Reveiws Are Bad Ones If You Like The EA Brand You Should Like This Game.
